InFARMation

Coastal inFARMation took place at T-SPOT on a chilly February evening. Even the snow did not stop local fiber enthusiasts from coming to mingle, drink beer and watch Sage and Tammy, our sheep farmers demonstrate carding, spinning and felting. We learned a lot about different kinds of wheels and spindles, sheep breeds, dying and raising animals for their luscious fibers.

The two 1-month old baby lambs that Sage brought were a big hit. If I understood correctly, they were both Blue Faced Leicester mixes.

Thank you to everybody who joined us on T-SPOT’s porch to knit, crochet and quilt despite the chilly Pacific Wind.
Of course, big thanks to those who retreated into the lounge too.
